ROLE DESCRIPTIONAs Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for James Piscitelli - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. Our top sales performers have two qualities that set them apart from all others and allow them to create exponentially higher monthly commissions

  • They utilize social media to reach out to leads sources and develop relationships with related businesses and potential customers.

  • Provide information about insurance products and services.
  • Assist customers with policy applications and renewals.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide timely responses.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Heavy customer contact, ability to present products and bundle packages to customers and identify sales opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Education High school diploma required, college graduate preferred.
  • Currently licensed applicants preferred (P/C and L/H) - must be able to obtain.
  • Prior sales experience preferred, must be comfortable with sales.
  • Work experience in insurance or direct customer service preferred.
  • Ideally looking for candidates in Nassau, Suffolk or Queens counties.
Compensation $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
